Our My Friend Breath books and resources support your child to learn and practice the skill of emotional-regulation and resilience. This makes them suitable for purchase with your child’s NDIS funding!

Through using each of our resources your child will develop a resilience strategy they can use to self-calm under pressure and recover quickly in challenging situations. This will help them to appropriately manage their feelings and behavior in social situations, such as childcare or at school.

Can I use my NDIS funds to buy MFB books and resources?

Yes! Our books and resources support your child to learn and practice the skill of emotional-regulation and resilience which makes them suitable for purchase with your child’s NDIS funding!

Our resources are particularly helpful for neurodiverse children and/or a child who has anxiety, autism, or difficulties socializing and communicating.

Are you an NDIS registered provider?

At this time we are not a registered NDIS provider, however this is something we hope to become in the future. You can still use your NDIS funds to buy our products if you are self-managed or plan managed. If you are unsure, please check with your LAC or support coordinator prior to purchasing.

How to order My Friend Breath resources with your NDIS funding

Before ordering download this ‘Statement by Supplier’ form.

Why do I need this form? Whilst the My Friend Breath books and resources are made and printed in Australia, we are a Canadian registered business, which means we do not have an Australian ABN. Therefore, prior to purchasing from us, you must download our ‘Statement by a Supplier’ form and include this with your claim, or forward to your plan manager to keep on file, to ensure you will be reimbursed by the NDIS.

If Self-Managed

    1. Choose your resources and add to the shopping cart on the MFB Store

    2. Proceed to the checkout

    3. Complete your purchase.


    Then, in order to receive a tax invoice for your claim, please forward your order confirmation email, and include your NDIS number, to NDIS@myfriendbreath.com

    We will reply with your tax invoice within 48 hours. Please submit this, along with the Statement by a Supplier Form, for your NDIS claim.

  • If you prefer to claim funds prior to purchasing complete the form to submit the resources you wish to purchase.

    ★ SUBMIT THIS REQUEST FORM ★

    We will provide you with a detailed tax invoice within 48 hours of form submission.

    You can then submit this for approval via the NDIS online portal along, with the Statement by a Supplier Form.

    Once the funds from the NDIS are confirmed, you can complete the payment for the order by clicking on the invoice link provided in our email.

If Plan Managed

  • In this case, we facilitate the purchase with your Plan Manager or 3rd Party Agency, who will pay us on your behalf.

    If you are plan managed and would like to request the purchase of our resources, please complete the form below.

    Once the payment is received, we will email any digital products and/or post physical resources to your preferred address and provide you with your tracking number.

    If you choose to purchase a personalised playtime practice book, we will send you an email outlining the process.
